Pharmacist to HealthTech – Career Transition Program
- Remote, Hybrid
- Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Job description
The Opportunity
MedMe is launching a full-time career transition program designed for experienced pharmacists who want to pivot into digital health. Whether your long-term interest is in Clinical Product Management, Pharmacy Relations (Sales/Growth/Partnerships), Implementation, or Account Management this program gives you a direct on-ramp into the industry.
You’ll start by taking on meaningful work in Customer Success, supporting our pharmacy users, solving real operational challenges, and building deep product fluency. Over time, you'll layer in projects aligned to your career goals and strengths, working closely with Pharmacy Relations and Clinical Product teams. You’ll contribute from day one while building a clear path to a new role within MedMe.
If you’ve been looking to make the leap from practice into healthtech but don’t know where to start, this is the bridge you’ve been waiting for.
About MedMe Health
At MedMe, we are passionate about empowering pharmacists to provide services beyond just prescribing. Our mission is to build an all-in-one cloud-based platform that enables pharmacists to schedule, document, and manage clinical services at scale. With over 4,500 pharmacies using our software, we’ve facilitated more than 25 million patient services, transforming pharmacies into community health hubs across North America.
What You’ll Do
This is a full-time role that starts in Customer Success and expands into one of several long-term healthtech career paths. You’ll contribute from day one while exploring where you want to specialize. Here’s how it works:
Core Responsibilities (Customer Success):
Act as a frontline support agent for pharmacy users, responding to live chat, phone, and email inquiries with accuracy, empathy, and urgency
Lead onboarding sessions for new clients, ensuring smooth setup, confident platform adoption, and early troubleshooting
Monitor pharmacy usage and engagement metrics to identify at-risk accounts and proactively re-engage them
Maintain and improve Help Center content, internal CS documentation, and pharmacy-facing guides to support scalable customer education
Escalate product issues clearly and constructively, including writing tickets and communicating with product/engineering teams
Optional Exposure Areas (choose what aligns with your career goals):
Clinical Product: Contribute to feature development by gathering voice-of-customer insights, writing or refining product requirements, and participating in QA/UAT cycles to validate usability, clinical accuracy, and edge cases
Pharmacy Relations: Support banner outreach, follow-ups, and reactivation campaigns. Contribute to MedMe’s growth initiatives by assisting with sales enablement, marketing content, and outreach strategies
Implementation: Shadow project coordination and assist with onboarding logistics for enterprise go-lives, regional groups, and pilot programs, helping manage timelines, training, and stakeholder communications
Account Management: Support enterprise account management activities, participating in account check-ins, analyzing usage data, surfacing expansion opportunities, and contributing to long-term success planning
Additional Projects:
You’ll also own a scoped project based on your goals. We’re open to anything that creates real impact, whether that’s building a new internal process, leading a pharmacy pilot, or testing a new idea. We’ll work with you to define the right scope.
This role is designed to evolve into a permanent function within your chosen path, and each area offers multiple directions: you might specialize in client strategy, product operations, sales, partnerships, or something in between. Most transitions into optional project areas begin after the initial 6 months, once you’ve built strong product fluency and comfort in your CS foundation. This timeline varies based on individual performance, interest, and team needs. We’ll help you shape a sustainable, impactful long-term role at MedMe.

Preferred:
Experience with training, workflow redesign, or pharmacy service adoption

[For US Candidates] Familiarity with US pharmacy or medical billing, including Medicaid, collaborative practice agreements (CPAs), or commercial payer reimbursement workflows
